주광정밀(주), 폴리텍 포항캠퍼스 장학금 기부

주광정밀은 구미 국가산업단지에 위치한 금형 제조업체로 구미의 대표적인 강소기업으로 손꼽히고 있다. 윤재호 대표는 매년 주광정밀에 입사하는 포항캠퍼스 수료생에게 1인당 1천만원씩의 장학금을 수여하고 있다.
윤 대표는 대기업과 달리 중소기업은 우수 인력을 확보하기에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있어 젊은 청년층에게 양질의 근무 여건과 함께 지속적으로 설계 및 가공 기술을 축적시키기 위해 장학금을 지급하고 기숙사를 제공하는 등 중소기업 근로 여건 개선에 힘쓰오고 있다.
또한, 기능한국인 70호로 다양한 금형 가공기술을 가진 윤 대표는 대한민국 기계가공 명장으로서 향후에도 기계가공 분야의 후학 양성을 위해 노력하고 있다.
이 외에도 지금까지 수억원을 기부해 온 윤 대표는 경북 아너소사이어티 37번째 회원이기도 하며 경북사회복지공동모금회, 경북기계공고 등 지역사회에 보탬이 되고자 지속적으로 기부하고 있다.
이자리에서 윤재호 대표는 “이번 장학금 수여 외에도 우리 회사의 훌륭한 인재가 꾸준히 역량을 쌓을 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
